Alfie embarked on his railway career straight out of college at the age of 17 and has never looked back. Over the years, he has developed a wealth of experience in all safety-critical roles, ranging from PTS (Personal Track Safety) to ES (Engineering Supervisor). His expertise spans across P-way (Permanent Way), civils, and plant operations, making him a versatile and highly skilled professional in the rail sector.
Currently, Alfie is responsible for managing and supervising civils contracts for a variety of clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Alfie also brings international experience, having spent two years in Australia managing major track renewal projects. During this time, he successfully oversaw the completion of 25km of brand-new track, further enhancing his global outlook and technical skillset.
