BMX racing is a fast, exhilarating Olympic sport that combines power, skill, and nerve. It’s classed as an extreme contact sport and is what launched Sir Chris Hoy’s cycling career! BMXing involves sprinting down a 5m start hill and racing through a 400m track filled with jumps, tight corners, and technical rolling low jumps. The race lap is completed in under 40 seconds, it’s thrilling, physical, and always action-packed.
